Blackberry and Red Wine Gravy
Ingredients:
➢ 2 cups Global Premier frozen blackberries
➢ 1 cup red wine
➢ Salt and pepper to taste
➢ 1 tsp flour
Directions:
- Place the blackberries in a pot over medium heat and let them cook until they reach a jam-like consistency.
- Add the red wine and stir gently.
- Season with salt and pepper and let it simmer for a few minutes.
- Add the teaspoon of flour (previously dissolved in a tablespoon of cold water) to prevent lumps.
- Stir constantly until the sauce thickens.
- Serve hot over your favorite cut of meat.
