Blackberry and Red Wine Gravy

Ingredients:

  • ➢ 2 cups Global Premier frozen blackberries

  • ➢ 1 cup red wine

  • ➢ Salt and pepper to taste

  • ➢ 1 tsp flour

Directions:

  • Place the blackberries in a pot over medium heat and let them cook until they reach a jam-like consistency.
  • Add the red wine and stir gently.
  • Season with salt and pepper and let it simmer for a few minutes.
  • Add the teaspoon of flour (previously dissolved in a tablespoon of cold water) to prevent lumps.
  • Stir constantly until the sauce thickens.
  • Serve hot over your favorite cut of meat.
