Pineapple Ring Cake
Ingredients:
- CRUST
➢ 3 cups flour
➢ 1 cup sugar
➢ 1 cup butter (room temperature)
➢ 4 eggs
➢ 1 cup plain yogurt or sour cream
➢ 2 tsp baking powder
➢ 1 tsp vanilla extract
➢ 1 cup Global Premier pineapple
- Topping
➢ 1 cup Global Premier pineapple
➢ ½ cup honey
➢ Ground cinnamon
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a bundt or ring cake pan.
- Cream the room-temperature butter with the sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one by one, then the vanilla, and finally the yogurt.
- Incorporate the flour and baking powder, mixing until combined.
- Fold in the Global Premier pineapple chunks and stir gently.
- Pour the mixture into the pan and bake for 40–45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- For the topping: Mix the pineapple with honey and cinnamon. Place it in the air fryer at 180°C (350°F) for 10–15 minutes, or until lightly caramelized.
- Place your caramelized pineapple mixture in the center of the cake.
