Pineapple Ring Cake

Ingredients:

  • CRUST
  • ➢ 3 cups flour

  • ➢ 1 cup sugar

  • ➢ 1 cup butter (room temperature)

  • ➢ 4 eggs

  • ➢ 1 cup plain yogurt or sour cream

  • ➢ 2 tsp baking powder

  • ➢ 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • ➢ 1 cup Global Premier pineapple

  • Topping
  • ➢ 1 cup Global Premier pineapple

  • ➢ ½ cup honey

  • ➢ Ground cinnamon

Directions:

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a bundt or ring cake pan.
  • Cream the room-temperature butter with the sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs one by one, then the vanilla, and finally the yogurt.
  • Incorporate the flour and baking powder, mixing until combined.
  • Fold in the Global Premier pineapple chunks and stir gently.
  • Pour the mixture into the pan and bake for 40–45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • For the topping: Mix the pineapple with honey and cinnamon. Place it in the air fryer at 180°C (350°F) for 10–15 minutes, or until lightly caramelized.
  • Place your caramelized pineapple mixture in the center of the cake.
